Hello....I'm a single mom working as a secretary for several years now. I am among the many who have fallen victim to the sub-prime mortgage epidemic. I was just served with foreclosure papers yesterday because I am now 5 months behind on my mortgage. I couldn't afford the higher mortgage payments which skyrocketed to over $2,000 per month, from paying $1,337 since I purchased my home in 2006. My payments were already high enough, but I was able to afford them until my car broke down for the last time. The mechanic told me that I'd be better off purchasing a new car, rather than trying to replace the engine, which would have costed me much more out of pocket. The payments put a strain on our finances but things got worse when I couldn't afford to pay the high property taxes that were due, which resulted in the mortgage company picking up the tab for me, however, because of that, they've changed my mortgage payments from $1337 up to over $2,000 a month, which I certainly couldn't afford. The loan was originally done without an escrow account which would have covered the property taxes in the mortgage payments. When I tried to seek cooperation from the bank they told me that because of the type of loan (Balloon ARM) I have, I was ineligible for any assistance. They've left me with very few options for resolution and if that wasn't bad enough, I just found out that the value of my home has dropped excessively due to the current poor market and now I'm upside on my mortgage. I owe more than what my home is worth. HELP!!!!!

If you can help me by donating at least $1.00 it can be a start.  If I received $1.00 from everyone who wanted to help me, I could virtually solve my financial problem and pay off the debt that I owe which could keep my son and I from becoming homeless.  Feel free to place an online donation to my PayPal account: www.LVasquez65@aol.com.  Thank you again!

...And God Bless you.  I believe in karma and good things come to those who do something good for someone else...Pay It Forward.  Thank you!
